What is the mission of a language assistant?
As a Language Assistant my job is to help the students with their English.
In the classroom I am able to provide native pronunciation and knowledge/views of a different culture. Throughout a class I can offer advice and assistance on any questions the students might have about the activities they do from language exercises to helping with vocabulary, grammar in group projects and oral presentations.
Throughout the week I also take groups of students out of classes to do conversational activities. This helps students gain confidence in speaking English, as well as offers opportunities for them to learn new vocabulary, improve pronunciation and practise ways to express their thoughts and ideas in English.
Quina és la missió d’un assistent de llengua?
Com a auxiliar d’idiomes, el meu treball consisteix a ajudar als estudiants amb el seu anglès.
A l’aula, puc proporcionar-los pronunciació nativa i coneixements/perspectives d’una cultura diferent. Durant la classe, puc oferir assessorament i assistència amb qualsevol pregunta que puguin tenir sobre les activitats que realitzen, des d’exercicis de llengua fins a ajuda amb vocabulari, gramàtica en projectes grupals i presentacions orals.
Al llarg de la setmana, també porto a grups d’estudiants anés de classe per a realitzar activitats de conversa. Això els ajuda a guanyar confiança en parlar anglès, a més de brindar-los oportunitats per a aprendre nou vocabulari, millorar la pronunciació i practicar maneres d’expressar les seves idees en anglès.e un assistent de llengua
